About
STEPHANIE CAHILL, MA, LMHCA
Stephanie Cahill finished her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2010, and immediately pursued a graduate degree in school counseling. During her first year of that program, she learned much about the public school system and various interventions available to help children and adolescents struggling in school due to non-school related issues. Because of this, she found herself drawn to mental health counseling and has completed a Master of Arts in Counseling at Multnomah University.
Counseling Experience:
In addition to being having been a counseling intern at ANLCC, Stephanie also worked at a local pregnancy clinic which served women who find themselves faced with the uncertainty of an unplanned pregnancy.
Specializations and Approach:
Stephanie enjoys the opportunity to serve a wide variety of clients and views each individual as a uniquely designed child of God. She believes a trusting therapeutic relationship is essential in every counseling experience and often approaches counseling from a narrative standpoint. She is passionate about walking alongside clients as they discover truths about their own stories and considers it a privilege to support clients as they work to make desired changes. Stephanie welcomes the opportunity to provide counseling for men and women of any age, and seeks to understand each individual in the context of their family system.
